No more Facebook!

So I have done it again...said goodbye to Facebook! Not that I was on there that much, but I figure I needed to simplify my life and the amount of on lookers, and who's lives I am always looking at, just a bit. This means I will have more time to blog! Wait...the babies are crying. So maybe not much more time!

Jen's Wedding cake

So some of you know that I dabble a little in cakes. I love doing them and would one day love to do it full time. I have done 2 weddings so far and this cake is from one of my best friends weddings. It was fun to make. It turned out so good. One of the best I have done. It is hard to do them when I have 3 kids at my feet though. So when I have kids in school I want to them. I am constantly doing sketches of ideas. I am going to work on my cake recipes until then and cake sketches. NIc made the cake stand! Isn't it gorgeous? We saw it in a Martha Stewart wedding cake book, and he just threw it together. He is so talented!

Some amazing music!

I forget how GOOD music uplifts you and makes you want to get off your keyster and be a better person, because of the talent of the musician! I was reminded of a Jon Schmidt song that my brother Ben used to play all the time. I can't tell you what it does to my soul! God really does inspire through music! Watch this clip.

Does that not make you want to go for a long run! Good music always makes me want to put on my headphones and go running!

I love good music and I need to play more music that is uplifting and gets me motivated about life! It really refreshes and rejuvinates my soul! Is that cheesy? But it does!

This post is dedicated to the many hours of picture taking that Haley does. It is so entertaining to see what a 4 year old thinks is worthy of a snapshot. Mind you, I have deleted many a picture on my camera, so this is just a tiny snipit! I'd like to call this "Ode to Haley's World"!

Birthday Party For Everyone

Well Haley and the babies had their birthdays this month. Haley's was the 14th and the babies were on the 19th. I had a race on the babies birthday so we did a big combined party. I did not do a big grand cake like I usually do. I was a slacker this year. I made cupcakes and Haley chose to have "Black Cake with pink frosting with M&M's on top". We did it at my In-Laws and just had cake and ice cream and opened a plethera of gifts.









Then we gave the babies there first cake! Starting out slow and testing it out!

They got lots of fun new toys, so it is time to go through toys and clean out old ones!
They had a great birthday and next year maybe we will go all out! They are all so fun and I love having three little girls!

March Mustache Madness

When Nic and I were living in Layton with my brother, who was a fighter pilot, Nic got the idea to do March Mustache Madness from my brothers squadrin. So he inlisted all the people he knew to grow some sort of stache for the entire month of MArch! It was Torture for me...not because he didn't look cute, but who wants to be kissed by that thing! It hurts. It is finally over and I have Nic back instead of Hulk Hogan! Good job on perservering Nic!

I am still alive

Well since having Facebook, I have pretty much fallen off the face of the earth with my blogging!

Everyone is doing well! The babies are alomost 10 months old and getting mobile. Tessa can stand up on things and camando crawls everywhere...mostly to my phone charger! She is brutal with Laney and will crawl all over her! Laney just cries!! Poor thing is like Randy on The Chistmas Story. (As shown in the pics below)

Laney pretty much gets stuck! She can stand if I put her there, but does not know how to move out of that position. Same with sitting. When she is tired of sitting there, she just hollers out and I come and move her. If she does not want to sit when I go to set her down, she will stay stiff as a board, in fear of getting stuck that way for to long! They are very fun babies, but my desire for another baby soonoer than later is slowly deminishing...well, maybe pretty fast.

Laney is my twin and Tessa is Nic's twin...and together they make Haley...bizzare!

Haley is fun and is learning a lot. She knows all of her letters, lower case and upper case, and knows most of their sounds. She memorizes books that we read her, and then will recite them to us and look over with amazement and say, "I can read!".

Some of her latest funny things she has says:

She has learned my real name and says it "Marfa". One day I wanted to change the show we were watching, and she said, "No, let's just watch this one, Marfa."

She came up to me one day and tilted her head and put her hand on her hip and said, "What's going up girlfriend?"
I told her she forgot to take her clothes upstairs & she said, "I know, but I am late for a meeting!"

Well, Since my sister is in Indonesia for the next 4 years...I better do better so they can see my crazy life.
